Joint Degree Programs

The College of Medicine Graduate Education Program at the University of Florida offers several M.S. and Joint Degree Programs with other colleges. A Joint Degree Program is a credit-sharing arrangement that allows qualified students to combine their medical science background with other professional or graduate works to broaden their academic knowledge and results in earning two degrees in a reduced amount of time. The College currently offers the following Master of Science and Joint Degree programs.

Master of Science Degree Programs
M.S. Medical Sciences	Specializes in all fields of biomedical research available at the College of Medicine.
M.S. Clinical Investigation	Specializes in clinical research; designed for clinically trained M.D.'s and other doctoral level health professionals.
M.S. Epidemiology & Health Policy Research	Three tracts are available: the MS in Epidemiology degree program emphasizes research methodology; the concentration in Biostatistics provides a broad background in epidemiology with a concentration in biostatistics; and the concentration in health policy provides a broad background in epidemiology with an emphasis on health policy and outcomes and evaluation research.
Joint Degree Programs
M.S./MBA	Master of Science degree in medical sciences offered through the College of Medicine with the Master of Business Administration degree offered from the College of Business Administration.
M.S./J.D.	Master of Science degree in medical sciences offered through the College of Medicine with the Juris Doctor degree from the College of Law
M.S./M.Ed.	Master of Science degree in medical sciences offered through the College of Medicine with the Master of Education degree in educational leadership offered through the Department of Educational Leadership, Policy and Foundation, College of Medicine
Ph.D./MBA	Ph.D. degree in medical sciences offered through the College of Medicine with the Master of Business Administration degree offered from the College of Business Administration.
Ph.D./J.D.	Ph.D. degree in medical sciences offered through the College of Medicine with the Juris Doctor degree from the College of Law
Certificate Programs
APPCI	Advanced Postgraduate Program in Clinical Investigation - designed for individuals with a doctoral level degree in a clinical health field. Provides a comprehensive curriculum and training program in clinical investigation for senior fellows and junior faculty in the health sciences.
