Specific information will also be posted for each IDP interview weekend. This will be a private web-page, and the URL will be provided to you during the week before your interview.
Interview dates for 2008 are: February 9-11, February 23-25, March 8-10, and March 22-24.

If you will be flying, we will be sending you a confirmation number
for an "e-ticket". Be sure to bring your driver's
license or other form of picture ID to the airport, and arrive at the
airport early enough to go through security screening.
Visitors from out of town will be staying at the
Paramount
Plaza Hotel & Suites, which is located about a mile south
of the Health Science Center at 2900 S.W. 13th Street. Reservations will be made for you by
Ms. Cloud-Driver.

Transportation: Students arriving at the Gainesville airport will be greeted by a member of the IDP Admissions Committee and driven to the hotel by the faculty member or by the hotel courtesy van. If for any reason nobody is there to meet your flight (e.g. your flight is very late), please call the hotel to request a courtesy van pick-up, or take a taxi to the hotel and get a receipt for reimbursement. Rides to weekend social events will be provided by current IDP students. Most students traveling by air will be departing on Monday, and transportation to the airport will be provided by van departing from the Health Science Center at 4:00 pm. Please be ready to leave at the designated time.
Meals: Most meals will be provided during social activities over the weekend and on Monday.
Hotel Check-out: Please allow yourself sufficient time on Monday morning to check out and and board the shuttle bus with your luggage by 7:45 am. Breakfast will be provided at the breakfast reception at 8:30 am in the Academic Research Building (ARB). You may leave your luggage at the Office of Graduate Education (R1-102, ARB).
Current IDP students will be hosting a reception to welcome you to Gainesville. Meet in the Bivens Arm Lake Room of the Paramount Plaza Hotel & Suites at the designated time.
IDP students will be available to host visitors interested in attending religious services. Please contact the students to arrange a ride. (More information will be posted.)
Everyone is invited to have lunch with the current IDP students and tour the University of Florida campus and surrounding community. Please meet in the hotel lobby at 12:00 noon.
The IDP Faculty & Student Dinner will be hosted by an IDP faculty member from 6:00-9:00 pm. Directions and a map can be found in your interview folder and will be posted on-line. Students needing a ride should meet in the hotel lobby at 5:45 pm.
