GMS 6381: Special Topics in Pathology


 

Course Ddescription:  

 

These IDP advanced modules are structured to introduce advanced graduate students to the integration between basic and clinical research on the cellular and molecular pathogenesis of human diseases. The courses will alternate topics, focusing on different organs or systems.  The goal of the courses will be to provide students with an overview of the natural history of selected human diseases, their diagnosis and clinical management (bench to bedside theory). This will be followed by in-depth discussions concerning the pathogenesis of the diseases, with particular attention focused on both the cellular and molecular mechanisms involved in the progression of these diseases.

Spring 2004 - Cellular & Molecular Basis of Kidney Diseases
