Course Description: 1 credit Fall semester only
Lectures will emphasize key reactions in the metabolic pathways of carbohydrate
and lipid metabolism with special attention to the exploration of the experimental
basis for our current understanding of these processes. Understanding of
the interactions between major metabolic pathways and control of these
pathways under different physiological conditions are central themes
of the course.
