| Individual research laboratories are extremely well-equipped. In addition to the equipment available
in individual research laboratories, a number of research institutes and centers house core
laboratories with state-of-the-art instrumentations and services that are available to researchers
at the University of Florida. These Research Institutes and Centers also foster interdisciplinary research
by bringing together students, postdocs, and faculty from many different departments across
