This page was created in response to the request for information on child day care in Gainesville. Feedback to the webmaster is encouraged.

In researching the subject, the Director of the Baby Gator Program gave us the following advice: Find day child care centers that are National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC) accredited. Child Care Resources, Inc. (http://www.ccresources.org/), gave us a listing of all the NAEYC (pronounced nay-cee) (http://www.naeyc.org/) accredited child care facilities in the immediate Gainesville area. We compiled the following list on this page.

If you have additional questions about this form of accreditation, what it means, and how it's earned, you can contact Child Care Resources, Inc. here in Gainesville at (352) 334-1550, or contact NAEYC through their website.

The child day care centers listed here are NOT explicitly or implicitly endorsed by the University of Florida, the College of Medicine, the Office of Graduate Education or the IDP. This listing below was created exclusively for your convenience.
