The next term for which applications for admission to the IDP will be accepted is Fall 2010.  The IDP admits students only in the Fall semester.

This is a calendar of the significant dates in the IDP Admissions process for the class entering in Fall 2010. It lists deadlines, important mailing dates, and the dates we have set aside for interviews. Keep in mind that deadlines are just the last day to accomplish a task. You should be aware that we will begin reviewing applications as soon as they arrive, and start setting up interviews with qualified candidates as soon as possible.

Experience has taught us that the most efficient course a prospective applicant can take is:

Summer to Early Fall 2009:  Take the GRE and (if applicable) TOEFL.

Early to Mid-Fall 2009:  Domestic applicants, submit your request for an application, either electronically or via the U.S. Postal Service. If circumstances require it, you can even fax in your request. International applicants should begin the electronic application process.

Late Fall 2009, before the Christmas Break:  Submit your full application.

January 2010:  Submit your Fall 2009 Semester grades, and any other updated material you would like to have considered.

Annual application deadlines are December 15th for international applications and January 15th for domestic applications (or the following business day if the 15th is on a weekend or holiday).  

  If you will be interviewing at many different programs, please try to reserve one of the interview dates below on your calendar for us.

Tuesday, December 1, 2009	FINAL DEADLINE FOR INTERNATIONAL APPLICATIONS AND FOR PRIORITY HANDLING OF DOMESTIC APPLICATIONS FOR FALL 2010 IDP ADMISSION.  All materials for a complete application packet must be received by the IDP Admissions Office by this date for priority handling of your application packet.
Friday, January 15, 2010	FINAL DEADLINE FOR DOMESTIC APPLICATIONS FOR FALL 2010 ADMISSION. All materials for a complete application packet must be submitted to, and received by, the IDP Recruiting and Admissions Office by or on this date.
Saturday-Monday, February 13-15, 2010	1st Interview Visit. Arrival on Saturday afternoon-evening, and dinner with IDP students. Lunch and campus tour with IDP students on Sunday afternoon. Dinner with IDP students & faculty. Breakfast reception on Monday morning, followed by interviews and lunch with IDP faculty. Departure Monday afternoon.
Saturday-Monday, March 6-8, 2010	2nd Interview Visit. Arrival on Saturday afternoon-evening, and dinner with IDP students. Lunch and campus tour with IDP students on Sunday afternoon. Dinner with IDP students & faculty. Breakfast reception on Monday morning, followed by interviews and lunch with IDP faculty. Departure Monday afternoon.
Saturday-Monday, March 20-22, 2010	3rd Interview Visit. Arrival on Saturday afternoon-evening, and dinner with IDP students. Lunch and campus tour with IDP students on Sunday afternoon. Dinner with IDP students & faculty. Breakfast reception on Monday morning, followed by interviews and lunch with IDP faculty. Departure Monday afternoon.
Thursday, April 15, 2010	DEADLINE FOR ACCEPTING OFFERS OF IDP ADMISSION. All applicants who have received an offer of admission for graduate study in the Fall of 2010 must declare their intention to attend or not attend the University of Florida.
