Master’s Programs in the College of Medicine
There are two programs in the College of Medicine that offer very different graduate experiences. Both programs offer a master of science in medical science degree.
The Department of Molecular Genetics and Microbiology has two programs that are based on biomedical science/biotechnology. These degrees involve a significant amount of wet lab research. The first in a general degree with no concentration. The second is a more structured program with a concentration in Translational Biotechnology that includes courses taken with the College of Business and an internship with a company.
The Clinical Investigation program has two concentrations affiliated with different entities. The Clinical and Translational Science Institute offers a concentration in Clinical and Translational Science, and the Department of Health Outcomes and Policy offers a concentration in Health Outcomes and Policy.
